Barbara Chinsky Cohen mission is to create floral memories that are enjoyed and last a lifetime in the photo albums of her clients… Barbara is a wedding floral expert and Master Designer who has taught at colleges and continues to conduct hands on presentations.  Barbara specializes in weddings and life events.

Attention to detail, a strong eye for color, extensive floral procurement buying knowledge, timely delivery and the ability to listen to her clients and turn their vision into reality is what makes Barbara sought after in metropolitan New York wedding circles for over 25 years. Formerly with Petals and Stems Party Decorators and now on her own as she continues to provide the highest level of service and exceed expectations.

Starting originally as a floral wholesaler, then transforming into a Party Decorator/Florist, Barbara maintains worldwide buying contacts. Her connections afford a vast knowledge of source and focus on quality ingredients. Being a floral design educator, Adjunct Professor at College level, makes it so Barbara is skilled in breaking down complex concepts and having clients understand and participate in the planning process as much or as little as they desire. Barbara’s clients share this combination makes the Wedding and event design process smooth, seamless and worry free.

When affiliated with Petals and Stems Florist, Barbara’s attention to detail contributed to the company being a Premiere provider for 800-Flowers which is their highest level of association.  This relationship is based on quality and performance. Barbara continues to teach in settings for Personal Enrichment and is available for public and private bookings.  Barbara is the co-writer of a forthcoming book on Floral Design in the Garden with a nationally known Garden writer, speaker and blogger, C.L. Fornari.
